WASHINGTON (AP) - A campaign aide says Hillary Rodham Clinton loaned herself $6.4 million in the past month.
The loan more than doubles Clinton’s personal investment in her bid for the Democratic nomination. She gave her campaign $5 million earlier this year. Source
I have said it before, and I will say it again; The Cliton Clan are crooks. I have nothing to prove that, and if I did I would be dead already.
You do not think she/they are crooks? Fine, then there the only other explanation to dumping this much of their own money into her campaign; they owe a lot of people a lot of favors (for crooked deals).
Want to know what is going to happen over the next six years? Here is the short version. And you can say you read this all here first.
- Obama is going to win the nomination.
- McCain is going to be elected POTUS for no other reason than there are far too many closet racists on the left and them Demoncrapit party is listening to a tiny, vocal, loony-left group rather than picking somebody more mainstream that would appeal to the masses of their followers.
- McCain will spend four years in office doing, well, pretty much nothing.
- The Demoncrapits will slaughter McCain in his re-election bid. By, quite possibly, Mr. Al “The Sky is Falling” Gore.
- IF the Demoncrapits win, they will spend the next eight years rolling over and appeasing the world instead of defending/following the United States Constitution and Bill of Rights.
- It will take more than a decade of lawsuits, going up to the SCOTUS, to un-do the fuck-ups that the Demoncrapit party created.
- And I am quite sure during those eight years we will have another terrorist attack that will put the U.S. in a hole that will be difficult– if not impossible– to climb out of.
Have a Happy Day!

DO AS I SAY!
Not as I do!!!
Not the first time I have seen this, but this sums it up nicely. Source

I understand who they are. And that there are times that they may want to show up to something in a gas guzzling limo. Or the occasional need to fly somewhere that may involve a private jet. And I have no problem with that. But don’t be the pot and call the kettle black and think we are not the wiser.
I am happy to report that the right leaning conservative bastard that I am that does not believe that people have a significant roll in global warming keeps the thermostat set at the house for 62° at night and 67° in the daytime in the winter. 75° in the summer and higher if we will be away from the house durring the day. 90% of my lights are fluorescent light bulbs (only having incandescent lights still in use in areas that are infrequently used (closets, toilet areas, dining room, et cetera). LED night lights. And I go as as far as cooking outside in the summer (reduces AC needs in the house) and inside in the winter using the heat as a beneficial byproduct. Turn lights off in rooms. And on an on.
And possibly most importantly, I am on the motorcycle whenever I can. 45+ MPG that allows such a great byproduct as a near permanent grin from ear to ear. Plus it can pretty much dust anything legally on the road with four wheels too!
So, in a nutshell, I am doing the whole sha-bang to reduce my carbon footprint. It only makes me hate the Hollywood prima donnas that pretend to care about the earth and what we should all do to help… except them of course.

FreeBSD / Apache / MySqL / PHP server.
So I found some “how to’s” on the Internet on how to to do this. Some looked easier than others. Well after five “how to’s” including the one from php.net and still no luck I was really frustrated. Php.net frustrated me the most. I had a problem with it running the PHP code and instead of displaying the .php file it would just have a blank screen. So I found this listed in the faq list. Great! It said something like, “Something is not correct. Check your settings.”
BRILIANT MOTHER FRACKER! Could you maybe give me a clue on WHAT FRACKEN SETTINGS! No I am not bidder. Really.
So one last try.
Fresh install (for the sixth time). I do this:
#cd /usr/local/www/apache22
#make; make install clean
#cd /usr/ports/databases/mysql51-server
#make; make install clean
#cd /usr/ports/lang/php5#make; make install clean
Make sure everything is running. It is. I get a “Welcome!” why I go to the server. Try the infophp.php code and nope. Displays the .php code and not what it should do.
I then vi the httpd.conf file.
Find the area that deals with “Filters allow you to process content before it is sent to the client.” and add the line: AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .php3 .php4 .phtml
Restart apache
#/usr/local/sbin/apachectl restart
Hit the server with my browser again and it is working as it should be.
Not sure why there are so many “How to’s” that are so long and convoluted.

But in this case, it’s a good thing.
In the last three weeks I have lost a bit more than ten pounds by limiting my food type and intake.
The life change includes low carb intake, and little in the way of refined carbs (two slices of diet bread each day) and 3/4 cup of shredded wheat cereal which I have been skipping. But during the day it also allows 4-cups of green veggies and three fruits. Proteins include two servings consisting of chicken, turkey, fish. Eggs and beef are also included but there are limits of no more than twice each week and never two days in a row. Fats are limited to one table spoon of butter and/or real mayo.
Interestingly, even with the limited calorie intake, the only time I ever feel hungry is when I do not go by the letter of the law.

Well I am on a sabbatical (READ: out of work currently and looking). So the road before me is unclear and foggy at best.
Living were I do there is a limited job market for my skills. So moving is not out of-the-question, and may in fact, be required. The wife’s pending promotion, and if she excepts, will play a serious factor in where we go as well.
But whatever, and depending on where the move is to, I am alright with moving. I don’t think Memphis is that great a place anyway. I have made some great friends. We have some great neighbors, I even have a cousin near by, but in the end it is my family that counts.
This is not a real factor, as I will do what I have to do. But I was also thinking, would it be better to stay here in the hope that my vote would make a difference in the election, or move to a place that is more politically aligned with my believes and just have cast in a sea of similar votes.

So the other day I am working outside and I walk by my truck. “Hmm,” me thinks, “the front right tire looks a little low. I’ll need to remember to check that.”
The following day I am on my way to the store and I am thinking, “Why the hell is the truck pulling to the…
” …maybe it was more like “
“!
I knew it wasn’t flat, and the store was just a half mile more up the road so I continued. When I got to the store I checked the tire. Sure enough, it was pretty darn low, and there is a screw sticking out of it. At least it wasn’t one of the screws I used while building the fence. Instead of kicking myself in the ass at least I can talk bad about some inconsiderate person.”
So on the way home I swing by Gateway Tire. Place was full. And I was told I have at least a two hour wait just for them to get to my truck. I thank them and tell them I will be back first thing in the morning.

I get there the next morning, not to many people, and I tell them I need a patch on the front right tire. I see a sign in behind the counter that they have free WiFi and I curse myself because I had considered bringing my laptop but figured, hell no, they won’t have WiFi.
I walk around the store a bit. One tire looks about the same as another to me. I then remember my HTC v6800 cell phone has WiFi built in. So I surf my favorite forums and catch up on some threads that I am interested in.
An bit over and hour later, there was several people in front of me, they are done. He hands me the keys and says, “Have a great day.” I, looking confused I am sure, said, “I have not paid yet.” They tell me, “No Charge. We are happy to do it for you.” Damn, and I didn’t even buy these tires there… or any tires, ever from them.
I walk out shocked. In this day an age when they could have charged me $20 or more. Remove the tire/rim from the vehicle. Pop the tire from the rim. Patch it. Put the tire back on the rim. Balance it. Re-install it on the car. Granted, none of this is rocket science, but it does require some knowledge and specialized equipment– and that is what you are really (normally) paying for.
So I have to say. I did remember seeing a sign in with the tires that the tires come with a free hazard warranty.
Last time I bought tires I went online and did so. This next time, I’ll have to give Gateway Tire first crack. And even if it is a bit more… I think it will be worth it.

Absolut’s latest big advertisement in the country of Mexico:

They have pulled the ad. Which may be well and good.
But when I drink, if it is not beer than you can almost bet that it will be good vodka. I think one of the better tasting ones is Gray Goose Vodka for example. But it is imported from france, and well, france is full of french people… and I don’t want anything to do with those smelly people, their country, or their holier than thou attitude.
As for Absolut, I have nothing against the Sweds, but Absolut won’t see any of my money ever again pulling this shit.
Once chance baby… and you lost it.
